PIN Salon is Opening Again!
Before your next appointment, please read this page to ensure you are informed about our new policy updates and expectations implemented in light of COVID-19.
PIN salon has hired a professional cleaning company to ensure everything has been sanitized and the air filters are new.
We have been trained with a new sanitation formulation, Vira 2020, that will be used in between guests on all surfaces. Vira 2020 can be applied to multiple surfaces to immediately kill many viruses, including the Corona Virus within 3 minutes. Please wait to be seated.
Our employees will do daily temperature checks upon arrival to PIN and before we are allowed to work.
The following is mandatory for all employees, and we ask the same from you.
Do not come to your appointment if you or anyone you have been in contact with has the following:
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
repeated shaking with chills
muscle pain/ body aches
runny nose or stuffy nose
loss of taste or smell
feeling feverish or a measured temperature or 100 degrees Fahrenheit
known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19
We reserve the right to ask you to reschedule, and we will if we see any of the above signs.
We ask that you wait outside or in your car until you receive a call from us letting you know we are ready for your appointment.
Please wash your hands upon entering the salon.
Come to your appointment alone. This is not a gathering for friends and family moving forward.
Children under age 12 will not be serviced at this time and we ask you to leave your little ones at home. If you bring them, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment. Ask your stylist for ideas about accommodating your children—you might be able to create a plan together.
We will space out our chairs 6 feet apart.
Masks are mandatory for all employees and guests throughout your entire visit at PIN until further notice. Scarves, bandanas and masks that tie behind the head will not be functional during the appointment. Your mask needs to loop behind the ear. Please be sure to cover your nose during your visit as well. We will not be responsible for ruining your mask from hair color or anything else while at the salon.
Some of us love to converse during a shampoo and some love to enjoy a quiet moment of relaxation. Considering how close we are at the shampoo bowl and the fact that we are hovering over you, we ask that the shampoo area is a quiet zone. Unless your stylist needs to request something from you, this will be a no talking zone. Thank you for understanding.
Our self styling station will not be available until further notice. If you would like to leave the salon dry and with beautiful hair to last for days, be sure to make an appointment. If this is not reserved, there is no guarantee.
We will eliminate drinks, including all glassware. Please bring your own beverage.
We will not offer online booking at this time. With the high demand and schedule changes our stylists are working very hard at rescheduling appointments. May has been overbooked according to our safety guidelines. Many appointments will be rescheduled, please be understanding. Stylists may be willing to work on off days so be sure to utilize our waiting lists because we want to reach out to you!
For those of you at a higher risk of COVID and who need to take extra precautionary measures, please reach out to your stylist. They might be available to come in after hours so that you are alone in the salon, and there may be other options as well.
Do not be surprised when you receive a call from your stylist instead of PIN. We have an overwhelming job of rescheduling and this is the best plan for now.
That’s a lot of information, but we know you will understand and help us take all the measures we need in order to stay safe and feel safe. We are really looking forward to connecting with you again.
Thank you for supporting us through the past weeks, and until we see you again, we are sending you a virtual air hug!
